The Key To Being More Productive, Peaceful, Fulfilled And Balanced At Work And In Your Life, This Year And Every Year

We all know the cycle…at the turn of a new year we’re filled with anticipation and optimism. This year is going to be different, we tell ourselves. We start out strong, creating a new workout regimen, a diet we’ll surely stick to, comprehensive plans for our businesses and work, dream of vacations we’d like to take and books we’ll finally dust off and crack open! A couple months go by and we’ve already fallen behind so we adjust expectations. Then six months, nine months and eventually the end of the year. Did we hit the goals we established for ourselves? For most the answer is probably not. But what if it could be different this year and every year after? What if you could make some small tweaks in your daily schedule and some mindset shifts that would make hitting your goals this year and every year almost guaranteed? You can and in this session, we’ll talk about what it really takes to become the most fulfilled, productive, peaceful and balanced person you know! And you know what? It’s not as hard as you think, and it’ll actually be fun!

The Neurobiology of Emotion: Harnessing the Wisdom of Feelings in Business

Emotion is the singular neurobiological integrative process that connects mind, body, and relationships. It’s a process inherent to being human, and for many women, emotional intelligence is an asset. Because we’re typically socialized to be more in touch and more expressive with feelings, we hold infinite potential for bringing the wisdom of feelings into the workplace. Yet, in many business settings, emotional experiences are unwelcomed, avoided, and criticized. But the truth is, humans are not thinking and feeling beings – we are emotional beings that also happen to think. In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn the neuroscience behind emotion, why it’s inherent in everything you do, and how to make it your new super power at work.

Positive Nutrition: How Mindset and Habits Practiced Take you from Diet to Lifestyle

The problem isn’t a lack of nutrition information – it’s everywhere. We can educate ourselves by google searching or asking friends what works for them, but that doesn’t seem to solve our “problem”. We research diets and meal plans, but those don’t seem to work either. Despite our eagerness to achieve results, we find ourselves feeling lost, defeated, even embarrassed by not “figuring it out.” After years of experimenting with diets, detoxes, supplements and other programs, we end up further from our goals and crippled by the negative relationship we’ve formed with food, and with ourselves… Trust me – I’ve been there. I’ve lived it, I overcame it, and in this presentation, I show women how to do the same. Here I discuss how to unravel that negative mindset and restore our relationships with food and ourselves to ultimately help us achieve our goals and beyond.
